In February 2019, an open course of lectures devoted to the theater begins as part of the new project «Initiative. Creativity. Freedom.» «Inclusion. School. Moscow» implements a сreative laboratory. It is aimed at the development of the School students’ outlook, their initiatives and creative independence.

This grant will allow the School to expand the format of classes, adding to the required subjects (acting, speech, stage movement, musical improvisation, vocal sound), express courses and educational lectures on important theatrical disciplines. Invited Russian speakers who are famous people in the professional theater world will lead the laboratory participants through important milestones in the development of the theater, discover new knowledge, help to find opportunities for independent use of cultural resources for continuous creative development.

The invited speaker from the UK – Laura Jones (weelchair user) – dancer and teacher from Stopgap Dance Company (London) will hold a two-day session of master classes, tell and in practice present the ways and dance methods of working with people with different degrees of disability.

At the end of the project, students of the School will present their own theatrical projects that will come up from the idea to the implementation. The best sketch will be one of the School’s creative products and will have the opportunity to see a wide audience.

We invite all those who are interested in additional knowledge of people who have special needs for the educational component, the applied lecture block and the final presentation of student projects.
